Created originally by Izumi Tabata of Japan, this 25 minute (non-pole) class consists of high intensity interval training that maximises your fat burning by creating an afterburn effect (burning fat long after you finished exercising). This protocol is used by world class athletes for improvement in aerobic and anerobic capacity. Prepare to work hard! $10 casual entry or use it as part of your 10 pass card.

Australian Capital Pole Championships - Canberra Theatre November 20, 2011. 
The Australian Capital Pole Championships is a national event that will see some of the best pole dancers/fitness people in the country compete. The winner of the professional Division will gain automatic video entry into the semi finals of International Pole Championships (IPC). We welcome Arrianne Tyler, Bronwyn Smith & Elizabeth Domazet to FitSistas as our new instructors! All have been members of FitSistas for ages and have a mixture of dance, fitness and Zumba experience. Bronwyn is still completing her fitness qualifications but will be finished soon and Elizabeth is working alongside Monica for Aerial3. Looking forward to having you all on board x

FitSistas has won the 2010 Fitness Australia Award for the Best Personal Training Business of the Year in the ACT! September 2010. The national awards are on the 22nd of October in Melbourne. Thanks to all our fantastic staff for making FitSistas such a success xx

New Poles on the Way. April 2010
We are fitting the studio out in brand new Pussycat poles and selling our old ones..there's nothing wrong with ours now.... we just want thinner diameter poles. Currently our poles are 50.8mm but we will soon have a combination on 38mm and 44.1mm brass spinning poles
- which will be easier for everyone to do their tricks on, so look out in May for the exciting change!
If you are interested in purchasing one of our existing poles - hurry and contact us before they all sell out.
New Classes. April 2010
You have probably noticed our new BoxaFit and Aerial3 classes on the Term 4 timetable. They are an exciting addition to our exsisting product range and will offer some challenging opportuntities for those wishing to participate. BoxaFit will be instructed by Todd Pulford who is a registered Thump® Boxing Instructor as well as fitness instructor and Fitness Trainer/Strength and Conditioning Coach and Beck Green who is a Personal Trainer and registered Punchfit® Boxing Instructor. BoxaFit will be open to men and women and limited to 12 in a class, please call the studio or email us for more information.

We are the exclusive stockists of two types of pole for home use that have been made and designed especially for Fit Sistas by The Pussycat Pole.
If you are after a quality removable pole that enables you to do the most difficult of tricks on and also lets you put up and take down with ease then the 'Fit Sista' (stainless steel, spinning)and the 'Fit Sista Super Grip' (brass spinning) are only avaliable through our studio, contact us for detailed information.
